CELEBRATE Beethoven

Organiser
It is no coincidence that Beethoven's music has accompanied us throughout history, since the composer himself often commented musically on contemporary events, we need only think of his effusive homage to Napoleon - followed by deep disappointment. And so Beethoven's music can still be heard today on the occasion of historical turning points - unforgotten, for example, Leonard Bernstein's performance of the 9th Symphony on the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
Already on tour together five years ago, the Klenke Quartet and the Auryn Quartet bring East and West together again - and have double reason to celebrate: 250 years of Beethoven and 30 years of German unity. Harald Schoneweg joins those celebrating - together the quartet, quintet and octet celebrate the anniversary.
