Beethoven in Bonn
Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn in December 1770. It was here that he spent the first 22 years of his life, perfecting his musical skills and developing his moral values in the spirit of the Enlightenment. Many of the historical buildings and sites in Beethoven’s life can still be seen in Bonn today.
